She's growing up so fast! It's very bittersweet for me, seeing my little sister turn into such a beautiful young lady. This was so much fun, and we got so many great shots right in our backyard. Enjoy!

Raining Cats and Dogs

So I've always loved photographing animals, especially dogs and cats. They just have so much personality! My dog Bark Lee hates getting his picture taken, so it's always fun if i'm in for a chase! Recently, when I took Alissa's pictures, I also captured a few photos of Cori's cats...Sayla and Captain Barbossa, or "Bosa". Sayla was pretty easy, but Bosa was a runner! (or hiding under the blanket!) Anyone interested in pet photo shoots, give me a holler!

Burton Family

I had the fantastic opportunity to take pictures of the Burton family, whom I love to death! Betty wanted pictures before her daughter left for a mission, and it was my pleasure to take them! Alissa

So my first "official" photo shoot with my new camera was with my cousin (and one of my best friends) Alissa. It was so much fun! We started kind of late, so I knew we didn't have much light to work with outside, but when it got dark it didn't take long for me to set up a fun photo shoot right in the living room!

Sweater Weather

Anyone who knows me, knows that one of my favorite things in this entire world is the rain. Any time it's raining, I say it's raining for me. It's perfect weather. I even want it to rain on my wedding day! I am truly passionate for rain.

So yesterday it was pouring rain!!! i LOVED it! After the rain stopped, I grabbed my camera and just started meandering through Danny's backyard. Taking pictures is the ultimate way for me to clear my head, and having had some earlier frustrations, I really needed it. The result was some beautiful, wet pictures.

I love the smells, the cool breezes, the fresh look of every detail, the textures, the colors..............everyway that rain affects the world around you. Welcome fall, welcome vibrant colors, welcome "sweater weather!" My favorite weather of all.
